Paraty Tech, a company specialized in direct booking technology for the hospitality industry, and seQura, one of Southern Europe’s leading commerce technology platforms, have announced a partnership to introduce new payment options within Paraty Tech’s booking ecosystem.
Through this integration, hotels will be able to offer guests the option to split the cost of their reservations into installments of up to 12 months directly during the booking process. Guests gain greater flexibility when booking, while hotels receive the full reservation amount upfront from day one.
With more than 3,500 hotels across over 40 countries, Paraty Tech has built an ecosystem that integrates a booking engine, call center, loyalty programs, revenue management, digital marketing, and artificial intelligence to help hotels increase direct bookings and strengthen relationships with their guests. The integration with seQura adds a new layer of conversion and guest loyalty to that ecosystem at a time when acquiring new guests is becoming increasingly expensive and artificial intelligence is beginning to transform the way travelers discover and compare options.
"For the past 14 years, Paraty Tech has been helping hotels increase direct bookings, and a significant part of that success is thanks to our network of partners. This collaboration with seQura allows us to continue removing friction from the booking process while providing hotels with new tools to increase revenue and strengthen relationships with their guests," says Daniel Romero, Director of Communications & Partnerships at Paraty Tech.
For his part, David Bäckström, CEO of seQura, adds: "The payment moment can be much more than the final step of a reservation. When properly integrated into the direct channel, it helps hotels build long-term relationships with their guests. Together with Paraty Tech, we aim to turn that experience into real repeat business and sustainable growth."
Having activated a pilot phase at one of its properties, Soho Hotels becomes the first hotel group to implement seQura’s technology through Paraty Tech. The integration marks the first step of a rollout that both companies plan to extend to additional hotels and hotel chains.
